It's now an established trend: first comes the rifle, then comes the “pistol” version. So, it's no surprise that Rossi USA dropped the Rossi RS22 Pistol, a compact, suppressor-ready rimfire gun based on the RS22 semi-auto rifle platform. “Reimagined” is the term that the manufacturer uses to describe the transformation of the .22 LR RS22 rifle into a lightweight (just a few grams over 1 kg when unloaded) and customizable package designed for plinking, training and small-game hunting.
Rossi RS22 Pistol, two versions

The RS22 Pistol comes in two options, with or without a Strike Industries FSA Brace that can be folded on the left side. Brace aside, the two RS22 Pistol versions share the same features, that is a 6-inch (152 mm) suppressor-ready threaded barrel, rear-facing Picatinny rail for stabilizing braces, front accessory rail for lights or lasers, and an aluminum optics rail for red dots or sights – no mechanical sights are provided. The pistol grip is AR-style for improved ergonomics and control even without a stabilizing brace.

The new Rossi RS22 Pistol comes with a 10-round magazine which is fully compatible with all RS22 rifle magazines.

Frame material is black polymer, while barrel is carbon steel with a black finish. Manual safety is a through bolt type.
Probably not the prettiest or sexiest of the guns, the RS22 is nonetheless a modern and versatile design which has on its side an interesting price of only $189.99 (MSRP in the USA) for the standard version. The version with Strike Industries FSA Brace, on the other hand, costs more than double than that: $398.99.
