Primary Arms is expanding its 2023 lineup with a small, lightweight and also very slim red dot sight from the CLx Classic Series of the U.S. optics specialist. The dimensions of the Primary Arms CLx Classic Series Micro Reflex Sight are such that it should not protrude beyond the slide flanks even on subcompact pistols. This hardly increases the contours of already small guns, so the pistol doesn't get too bulky and clunky. The matte black anodized housing is made of 6061 aircraft aluminum and is correspondingly rugged.
The Primary Arms Micro Reflex Sight features a 3 MOA red dot. The dot can be manually adjusted in 10 brightness settings to match the prevailing ambient light and is particularly suitable for close to medium shooting distances. The 21x15 mm coated lens features a special Fog-Ressistant coating designed to prevent fogging. The Micro-Varinate's lens here, at 21mm wide, is 3mm narrower than the Mini Reflex Sight from the CLx Classic Series, but its square profile still delivers an equally clear target picture. The Micro Reflex Sight uses the popular RMSc Shield footprint and is therefore compatible with many optic-ready firearms. Power is supplied by a standard CR2032 cell. Battery life is up to 40,000 hours at medium brightness settings, according to the manufacturer.
The Primary Arms CLx Classic Series Micro Reflex Sight is recommended especially for guns with a corresponding Optic Ready cut – such as the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical Optic Ready shotgun or the MC2 series pistols, which also come from the U.S. gun manufacturer Mossberg.
The Primary Arms Classic Series 21mm Micro Reflex Sight is available now at a price of $149.99 (MSRP in the U.S.).
