Tasco is an American company that has always followed a market policy based on affordable products with the best possible quality/price ratio. In its catalog we find optics specifically dedicated to rimfire firearms (Rimfire series) and other specialized products according to the type of gun on which they will be mounted.
The Tasco Air Rifle riflescope line is intended for use on springer or PCP air rifles. These optics are extremely inexpensive but have all the desirable features. The first and most important is a dedicated construction, which allows these optics to withstand the recoil typical of air guns without any reticle displacement or even breakage. The Air Gun series optics all offer parallax correction from 10 meters to infinity and hand-adjustable turrets, so no tools are needed.
Three specific models
The line that Tasco dedicates to air guns includes three models, one in a fixed power configuration and two with variable magnification: 4x32mm, 2-7x32mm and 3-9x40, all with one inch (2.54 mm) main tube. Another feature that the three optics share is the non-illuminated Truplex reticle on the second image plane. Each turret click corresponds to a ¼ MOA reticle shift.
The field of view at 100 meters is 8.7 m, 15.3-4.7 m and 13.3-4.3 m respectively.
The Air Rifle series scopes feature anti-reflection coatings and anti-fog treatments and come complete with mounts.
The aesthetics of the Tasco Air Rifle riflescopes have been particularly cared for to give them a "Tacticool" look with large knurled grips and red lettering on the eyepiece.
Thanks to their very low price they can also be an interesting choice for use on airsoft replicas. Tasco Air Rifle riflescopes are already available for online purchase on the main e-commerce portals at prices ranging from 50 euros for the TAR432 model to about 90 euros for the TAR3940 model
