With the 2012 National Matches at Camp Perry (Ohio, USA) approaching quickly, Team Remington/Bushmaster took advantage of a late-season match at the Pennsylvania State High-Power Service Rifle Championships, held at Reade Range on July 14-15 in Alemans, Pennsylvania.
«The Pennsylvania Championships were our team’s last chance this season to train and compete before the CMP National High-Power Championships», said Ken Roxburgh, Team Bushmaster/Remington Captain and Head Coach. «Our team is blessed with great shooters who believe in their role as ambassadors for the sport of competitive shooting and the brands they represent on the line. I am looking forward to National Championships».
With valiant members such as Mark Laramie, Sara Rozanski, Nate Guernsey, Mick McCotter and George Morgan, the Team Remington/Bushmaster appears in fact to be the one to beat, given also the “added value” of the skillful Junior Competitor Joe Hendricks Jr., the Assistant Team Captain (and competitor) Tom Rider and Assistant Coach (also competitor) Joe Hendricks Sr., all benefiting from the expert care of armorer Tiny Briggs to keep their race instruments always well tuned and ready.
Team Remington/Bushmaster performed outstandingly at the Pennsylvania State High-Power Service Rifle Championships, with Mark Laramie resulting the overall individual winner (Score: 787-25X) and George Morgan placing himself as the Pennsylvania State resident champion with a score of 784-20X. The Team as a whole placed itself asthe High Civilian Service Rifle Team, with an excellent score: 1933-59X.
Team Remington/Bushmaster looks thus forward to take over the CMP National Match with a vengeance, and thereʼs nothing left for us to say or to do except to wish them the best luck.
