Compact, aggressive-looking and available in .308 Winchester or .223 Remington: the Franchi MULE is the latest addition to Franchi's Momentum line of hunting rifles. The MULE, an acronym for “Momentum Utility Lite Elite”, is a fast handling carbine with suppressor ready 16.25” (413 mm) barrel, designed as a go-anywhere general purpose gun for fast action and rugged use – a real “workhorse”, according to the manufacturer claim. Barrett and MARS 30mm Precision Grenadier System

Here is something for lovers of (really) big guns: shotwcased at the Olympus Arms booth, the 30mm precision grenade rifle system that last year was selected as the winner of the xTech Soldier Lethality competition as part of the US Army's Precision Grenadier System (PGS) program. Developed by Barrett and MARS, Inc., a Montana-based firearms R&D company, designs, and also known Squad Support Rifle System (SSRS), the rifle fires 30×42mm grenades and operates via a semi-automatic mechanism. It features a 5-round detachable box magazine and a compact 305-mm barrel with 1:24” twist rate. Weight is approximately 6.3 kg. The SSRS resembles a standard infantry rifle, and comes with an adjustable stock and ergonomic handguard. It's an integrated armament system (weapon, ammunition, fire control) that enables rapid, precision engagements to destroy personnel targets in defilade and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) targets at close range. The new 30x42 mm grenade family fired by the SSRS includes Programmable Air Bursting High Explosive (HE), Proximity Fuzed and Point Detonating HE grenades. The system bridges the gap between small arms and heavier indirect fire weapons, giving small units the ability to defeat cover and light vehicles without relying on artillery or air support.

IWA Pavilion: Well-known and new exhibitors at the joint IWA Outdoor Classics booth

This year, the "IWA Pavilion" once again offered a hub for both German companies and visitors to the SHOT Show 2026. For its presence at the major Las Vegas gun show, IWA OutdoorClassics had secured more than 350 square meters of exhibition space in a central location. This created a platform not only for German partner companies but also for other European companies to showcase their products, host discussions, and hold sales events. The following companies used the IWA Pavilion at the SHOT Show 2026: Anschütz, Armed Guns, Ballistol, Chrosziel, Double Alpha, EEMANN, Hans Wrage/Huntex, Hoernecke, Steyr Arms, Ghost International, L.C.M. with OMC Wirelombardia, Ledlenser, Martinez Albainox, Zollern, Röders/Ramfelt , Schmidt & Bender , Schröder/Original Löwe , Spohr/STP , Unis Ginex with Pretis and Igman. The IWA Pavilion has existed since 2024. The organizers of IWA OutdoorClassics, the leading trade fair for the European hunting and sporting firearms industry, which will be held in Nuremberg from February 26 to March 1, 2026, stepped in at the time to fill the gap left by the German Pavilion at the SHOT Show and, in the interests of small and medium-sized businesses, to at least partially compensate for the loss of state support. This German pavilion, bearing the logo of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, existed from the late 1990s until 2023. Then the Ministry of Economic Affairs, led by Green politician Robert Habek, decided to cease supporting the German Pavilion at the SHOT Show. You can learn more about this here on all4shooters.com.

From KJI: Nomad Ball Head and Titan Ball Head

Two new products from KJI: the Nomad Ball Head and the Titan Ball Head. Compact and weighing around 13,5 kg, the KJI Nomad Ball Head features a dual control method: an adjustable tension knob and an innovative quick-lock lever that instantly shifts the head from loose to locked with a single flick. The 40-mm CNC-machined aluminum ball delivers smooth 360° panning and full 90° tilt and is compatible with all standard ARCA Swiss mounting plates. There are a large clamping lever and etched hash marks on both the top plate and panning base, and a bubble level on top. The KJI Nomad Ball Head is full compatibility with any 3/8"-16 tripod base and is priced at $249.97.

The KJI Titan Ball Head, on the other hand, is more minimalist and features just two controls: a locking ARCA clamp and a single tension knob that travels with the ball – basically, one big, ergonomic dial that controls the feel and hold of the entire head, always within reach no matter the angle. The massive 60-mm ball and split-body CNC-machined aluminum housing allows for a full 13,5 kg load rating to hold heavy rifles, long-range optics, or full-size spotter setups. 360° panning, 90° tilt, etched hash marks for repeatable positioning, and a top-mounted bubble level are included in the package too. Tripod base mount is a standard 3/8"-16. Price in the US for the KJI Titan Ball Head is $349.97.

Chiappa Firearms Rhino Elite 60DS L-Frame: a 44-piece limited special edition

The .44 Magnum Rhino Elite 60DS revolver in a limited edition manufactured by Chiappa Firearms. Each revolver is one of a kind, and only 44 have been produced.

Chiappa Firearms presented some very special versions of its Rhino revolver at SHOT Show, as if this revolver wasn't already unique and distinguishable from others. The Elite 60DS L represents an artistic evolution of the Rhino platform. Produced in a limited edition of only 44 individually numbered pieces, each Elite model represents a unique fusion of firearm engineering, Italian industrial design, and contemporary graphic artistry, elevating the Rhino platform from a high-performance gun to a collectible art piece.

The Rhino Elite 60 DS revolver comes with an aluminum machined case and a certificate of authenticity signed by Rino Chiappa.

The Rhino 44 Elite enhances the revolver's particular mechanical architecture through an integrated visual design inspired by low-poly aesthetics. The hand-applied graphics reinterpret the Rhino's textured skin using polygonal shapes, softened to echo the patterning of the revolver’s distinctive barrel windows. Each Elite model features a one-of-a-kind color combination, making each revolver a truly unique and irreplaceable collector's item.

From a technical standpoint, the Rhino retains its features: it is chambered in .44 Remington Magnum, has a 6-inch barrel, double/single action trigger, Hogue rubber-style Cerakoted aluminum grips, and fiber optic sights. The price in the USA is $5775.

SnT K1A and K2, the (civilian) assault rifles from South Korea

SnT is the main arms manufacturer in South Korea, and at SHOT Show they were exhibiting the civilian version of the K1A and K2 assault rifles. Originally manufactured by Daewoo (SnT's previous name), the K1 has been the standard issue rifle of the South Korean army since 1981 and is considered one of the best 5.56 NATO assault rifles ever made. It is a highly sought-after weapon by American collectors- The only batch for the civilian market arrived in the USA under the name AR110 about thirty years ago, and since then enthusiasts have been competing for the few pieces around paying heavy money. The main difference between the K1A and the K2 is that the former uses a direct gas impingement system while the latter is based on an AK-style piston. Another difference is that the K1A has a telescoping stock while the K2 has a fixed stock. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that these rifles will ever come to Europe, but "never say never".
