With its 3,300 lumen max output, the Nitecore MH12 Pro is a flashlight capable of delivering a beam of light with a maximum throw of 505 meters and a peak beam intensity of 63,500 candelas. This is made possible by the new Nitelab Uhi 40 LED that equips it with a round light-emitting surface (LES) powered by a Nitecore NL2153HP 21,700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5,300mAh. This is capable of providing 650 hours of ULTRALOW-level life and is rechargeable via a reversible plug-in charging port. The MH12 Pro offers two modes: day mode with five brightness settings and three special functions (Strobe, Beacon, SOS); tactical mode with five brightness levels and a special Strobe function.

In this mode the MH12 Pro memorizes and switches back to Turbo level or Strobe function only when reactivated. The body of the MH12 Pro, weighing 81.5 grams excluding the battery, is precision CNC machined and features a non-slip, 1mm thick textured knurling that ensures a firm grip even with wet hands or when wearing gloves. The front of the flashlight features four power and four battery level indicators. The U-shaped tail cap serves to prevent accidental ignition of the flashlight as well as offering the possibility to rest the flashlight on its tail.

Among the features of the Nitecore MH12 Pro is the sensor protection function: when the integrated optical sensor detects a obstruction in front at close range, the brightness of the flashlight decreases to avoid overheating. Finally, the MH12 Pro has an IP68 waterproof rating: it can be submerged to a depth of 2 meters for up to 30 minutes with an impact resistance of 1 meter.
