Fausti Dea and Dea SLX side-by-sides

The Fausti DEA and DEA SLX shotguns differ substantially for the presence of the long sideplates in the DEA SLX, but share the same mechanical construction, with a steel receiver machined from a solid billet, a modified Anson Deeley action, a single trigger system and automatic case ejection. Available in 12-, 16-, 20-, 28-ga and .410 bore, the shotguns are made with actions scaled to gauge, a fundamental construction detail to enhance not only the aesthetic and harmony of the lines, but also for better ballistic performance and greater durablity over time.

The receiver finish can be coin or color case, with deep laser-engraved embellishments depicting floral motifs and game birds in flight in gold on the receiver bottom.

The side-by-sides shotguns can have barrels of varying lengths, starting at 63.5 cm for those who hunt in the woods and require large and fast shot patterns, moving on to the intermediate length of 68 cm, which is decidedly versatile for walked-up hunting, up to 71 and 76 cm, which are more useful for those who hunt from hides or in drive hunts. The chokes provided are both fixed and interchangeable depending on gauge and barrel length.

The English style stock is paired with a straight or beavertail forend, made from oil-finished select walnut wood. The spec sheet below shows in detail the various configurations available for the Dea and Dea SLX side-by-sides.
