The HIKMICRO T16 Trail Camera combines 4G LTE connectivity, up to 24 MP image resolution and dual field-of-view optics to provide continuous, day and night, wildlife monitoring. Built around a native 6 MP sensor (up to 24MP resolution), the T16 captures sharp images and Full HD resolution video with improved low-light performance, and discreet night vision with 940 nm infrared LEDs. Users can choose between a standard 60° field of view and a wider 100° lens depending on terrain and monitoring requirements. Dual PIR sensors with a 25-m range and a fast trigger system of 0.4 seconds help capture animal activity while reducing false alarms caused by. i.e. by wind and vegetation movement.
The T16 is fully integrated into HIKMICRO's HIKZone platform, allowing users to visualize camera locations, coverage areas and monitoring zones directly within the Sight App. A real-time preview function simplifies installation by enabling hunters to connect via Wi-Fi and adjust camera positioning from their smartphone before deployment.
Ease of use and long-term reliability have been central to the camera's development. Internal 64 GB storage eliminates the need for additional memory cards, while a dual-power system supports either rechargeable 18650 batteries and conventional AA cells for extended field operation. Secure 4G connectivity enables remote image transmission and cloud storage, with the system complying with the latest CE RED Directive and EN 18031 cybersecurity standards.
HIKMICRO also supports the T16 with a comprehensive service package that includes live technical assistance, AI-driven troubleshooting and fast replacement services accessible through the Sight App or the company's website.
Flexible subscription options allow hunters and users to choose monthly or annual plans, with multiple cameras able to share the same data allowance. Choosing yearly plans offers unlimited capture, and cost per photo decreases as usage increases, dropping as low as €0.006.
Additional cloud storage options and new credit-based data packages further increase flexibility, while users deploying several cameras can benefit from progressive multi-device discounts, starting at 5% for a second camera up to a maximum 20% discount.
T16 enters the market at a suggested retail price of €149 and is currently available with promotional offers including a free fixed mount and 600 complimentary image transmissions and more, for devices registered through the Sight App before 31 December 2026.
