Huglu brand can look back on over a century of tradition, which began in the small mountain town of Huglu in central Anatolia after the Balkan Wars of 1912-1913. As early as 1962, the local gunsmiths joined forces to form the Huglu Hunting Firearms Co-operative, whose trademark became the Seljuk double-headed eagle as a symbol of cohesion and a sense of tradition. Today, Huglu works with state-of-the-art CNC machining centers and exports 80 percent of its production to over 50 countries worldwide, with the USA being the most important sales market. Huglu HT-14 Sporting over-and-under shotgun – Accuracy for trap and skeet
The HT-14 Sporting from Huglu represents the spearhead of Turkish shotgun technology for the discerning sports shooter: this over-and-under in 12ga with 76-mm chamber impresses with its high-quality workmanship and its extensive adjustment options both on the sporting course and on the trap stand. The Huglu HT-14 Sporting impresses with its buttstock made of select Turkish walnut wood, on which both the cheek rest and the butt plate can be adjusted in height and laterally. Made from high-quality 4140 steel, the barrels are blued black and have an 11-mm wide ventilated rib with an orange fiber-optic front sight. With a barrel length of 76 cm and a weight of just under 4 kg, it sits quietly and precisely on the shoulder, but could cause sore muscles when used for long-range hunting.
The selective single trigger of the Huglu HT-14 can be adjusted lengthways in four positions, allowing the gun to be precisely adapted to the individual arm length. Huglu Ovis G2 bolt-action rifle
The Huglu Ovis G2 is based on the proven Remington 700 action and offers sub-MOA accuracy at an absolutely competitive price. Two version are available: with a classic wooden stock and with a practical synthetic stock.
Both Ovis G2 models have a barrel length of 51 cm, an M14x1 muzzle thread for a silencer or muzzle brake and a factory-fitted Picatinny rail. The two-position safety enables quiet operation with the thumb – ideal for hunting use. Both a 3-round and a 5-round magazine are included in the scope of delivery. The Huglu Ovis G2 with wooden stock impresses with its Turkish walnut wood featuring classic lines and checkering for optimum grip. Huglu Ventus over-and-under shotgun – Elegance meets feather-light handling
Weighing just 2.9 kg, the Huglu Ventus Lightweight is one of the leading over-and-under shotguns in its class. Its low weight makes it the ideal choice for longer stalking hunts and sporting course. The selective single trigger with selector and the reliable ejectors ensure comfortable handling in hunting and sporting situations. The 71-cm long barrels and the handcrafted stock made of Turkish walnut wood with a checkered texture give the gun a classic appearance. Finally, there is a special treat for side-by-side shotgun fans: the Huglu 200 ACE in 12ga with 76-mm chambers and a barrel length of 71 cm combines traditional Turkish craftsmanship with modern manufacturing technology.
The centerpiece of the 200 ACE is the monobloc action made of 4140 forged steel with hand-engraved relief decorations in a classic design. A select Turkish walnut stock with fine checkering and a silk-matte oil finish is also used here.
