Founded in Germany in 2009 by Thomas Hoff and Andreas Schumacher, Schmeisser GmbH is the result of more than two decades of experience gained by its founders in the design, development and marketing of firearms. The company is named after Hugo Schmeisser, a pioneer of 20th century gunsmithing innovation, carrying on his legacy through a blend of tradition and advanced technology. Initially, the company focused on the production of AR-15 style semi-automatic rifles for the civilian market and M16 type selective fire assault rifles for LE and the military, both in Germany and internationally. After a brief foray into the world of pistols, today Schmeisser concentrates its efforts and its catalogue on "black rifles", which they offer in different variants and in .223 Remington and 9x19mm (PCC version, i.e. Pistol Caliber Carbine).

Schmeisser AR15-9 Dynamic PCC

What we present here is the AR15-9 Dynamic PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine), designed for dynamic sport shooting, chambered in 9x19mm. Lightweight and extremely accurate, offered at an astounding price, it features upper and lower receivers in 7075-T6 aluminium, to make it particularly rugged; the handguard is aluminum too, with several slots for mounting optics and accessories. Controls are ambidextrous. The 10-round magazine is compatible with that of Glock 17 pistols. The added bonus of this gun is the Kynshot hydraulic buffer system, fitted as standard in the buffer tube, which slows down bolt impulse and speed, significantly reducing recoil. The Dynamic PCC features a six-position telescopic stock and a pistol grip with increased vertical angle. A wide magwell makes quick magazine changes easier. As standard, the carbine is fitted with a Glock-type 10-round magazine, but depending on the laws of the country, it can also be fitted with a larger capacity magazine.
The Schmeisser Dynamic AR15-9 operating system relies on a blowback action with a carefully selected recoil spring to ensure maximum repeatability with every type of cartridge.
The barrel is 10.5 inches long, or 26.67 centimetres, and a three-chamber NoRec Match compensator is mounted on the muzzle, which helps to almost completely eliminate muzzle flip. The overall length of the Schmeisser Dynamic PCC is 79.5 cm with the telescopic stock fully closed and, 89.5 cm with the stock extended. Weight with empty magazine is 3,250 grams.
