Savage 110 PCS, the bolt-action pistol based on the 110 rifle action

The Accutrigger trigger is the same as that fitted to Savage 110 rifles and can be easily adjusted between 1,100 and 2,700 grams.

At first glance, the Savage 110 PCS looks like a bolt-action rifle without the stock. It is built around a Savage 110 action housed in a rugged one-piece MDT (Modular Driven Technologies) aluminum chassis with a 7-inch M-LOK free-floating modular forend. This configuration results in a heavy weight for a pistol (approximately 2.5 kg) that feels and handle similar to a compact rifle, especially when used with a bipod or a stable support.

A distinctive feature is the "left-handed" action with the charging handle on the left side and the ejection port on the right. This set-up allows right-handed shooters to operate the bolt with their left hand without moving their dominant hand from the grip and their eye from the optic.

The Savage 110 PCS has a left-handed charging handle. For right-handed users, this allows to chamber a fresh round without moving the dominant hand from the grip.

The Savage 110 PCS is compatible with most AR-15 grips, allowing for a high degree of customisation, and the rear of the chassis features a Picatinny rail section for the optional addition of a brace or stock (where permitted by law).

The bolt of the 110 PCS is spiral-fluted. The magazine is AICS compatible.

Another Picatinny rail positioned above the action allows the mounting of an optic, which is indispensable on such a gun. On the underside of the free-floating forend is the attachment for a bipod.

The AccuTrigger trigger fitted to the Savage 110 PCS is adjustable (between 1,100 and 2,700 grams) and helps utilise the gun's inherent high accuracy. The 10.5"/267 mm medium-profile barrel is muzzle threaded (5/8-24), ready for the mounting of a suppressor or muzzle brake, which allows to fully exploit the remarkable characteristics of easy-to-suppress cartridges like the .300 BLK: the .300 AAC Blackout (7.62x35mm) was in fact developed to offer performance similar to that of the 7.62x39 fired by the AK-47 in short-barreled guns (SBRs or pistols), while using standard AR-15 magazines (in this case, 5-round AICS magazines) and, most importantly, excelling with subsonic ammunition when suppressed.

With supersonic ammunition, the 10.5-inch barrel, although relatively short, is able to achieve high velocities (over 2,100 fps), making the weapon effective for hunting at medium ranges (up to about 150-200 metres). With quality ammunition, it is possible to do below 1 MOA groups.

In the US, the Savage 110 PCS has a list price $1,033.

With quality ammunition, the Savage 110 PCS  promises groups around 1 MOA.
