At first glance, a pistol and a watch don't have much in common. But only at first glance. At second glance, they are an almost perfect duo: every gun user is dependent on precise timekeeping. Be it for tactical use, shooting or hunting. And both devices also have a lot in common technically: they rely on maximum precision to tame energy. The Sinn 358 Walther is able to release the energy stored in the recoil spring with millisecond accuracy, thus enabling a precise time display. The Walther PDP Steel Frame pistol, on the other hand, can handle a bullet accelerated by explosive force and allows the shooter to place it on target with millimetre precision. From this perspective, two extremely precise marvels of technology that we often take for granted in everyday life. And it is precisely these that have now come together in this limited edition of 99 pieces.
Walther x Sinn Edition – Pistol and watch in detail

The pistol of the exclusive edition is the PDP Steel Frame FS (Full Size) with a 4.5" barrel in 9mm Luger. We already tested the gun extensively as a standard version. The most obvious distinguishing feature of this special edition of the PDP is the satin stainless steel look with a PVD finish. In addition, where the front serrations are normally located, it now has cut-outs that provide a view of the barrel. Instead of the familiar polymer grips, the manufacturer has given the Walther x Sinn-PDP black leather grips. This not only provides a nice contrast, but also looks particularly elegant. The observer will find an additional engraving on the underside of the trigger guard. Here, the lettering "XX/99" indicates the number of the edition and the limited edition of 99 pieces. The other features of the edition gun are taken from the successful standard pistol: the polygonal rifled barrel measures 115 mm in length, the magazine holds 18 rounds and the pistol weighs around 1,190 grams unloaded. There is a rail at the front for mounting accessories and the PDP is equipped with an optics interface on the slide. Walther has also installed its own Performance Duty Trigger.
The Sinn 358 Walther watch comes as an automatic chronograph. It has an hour and minute display, as well as a small second hand. There is also a date, day of the week and the chronograph function. The case is made of satin-finished stainless steel, while the dial is a deep dark blue colour with a galvanic sunburst finish. In addition to the Sinn logo, it also features the iconic Walther ribbon. The indices, hands and numerals are ivory-coloured, creating an elegant contrast. The elements glow in the dark. The watch utilises the Ar-Dehumidifying Technology that enhances functional reliability and freedom from fogging. The glass is made of sapphire crystal. Pressure resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 10 bar, and the watch is also water-resistant. Through the transparent back of the watch, which is also made of sapphire crystal, the observer can recognise three beautiful details on the rotor: this not only shows the limited edition, but also the same edition number as the pistol. It also features the Walther ribbon.
