All steel luxury: new SIG Sauer P320-SXG Reserve

SIG's Reserve Collection is a line of "limited-edition specially crafted pistols featuring exclusive aesthetics, uniquely sourced materials and premium finishes," as they advertise it. On the other hand, a P320 XFive model with the heavy-metal steel-framed SXG grip module (the acronym stand for Stainless steel X-grip) had already been introduced in 2024. So, it comes as no surprise that the the newest addition to the Reserve Collection is the P320-SXG Reserve.

SIG Sauer P320-SXG Reserve, refined perfomance

Chambered in 9mm, the all-steel P320-SXG Reserve presents itself with a very sleek black appearance, its sophisticated luxury style being expressed through the high-gloss DLC polished frame and slide that immediately strikes the eyes. On closer examination, other features give it away as a luxury model: these include the high polish flat-face Trigger, the refined GridLOK high polish grip panels, and the integrated compensator. The latter helps reduce recoil and muzzle flip, together with the steel SXG lower that also softens recoil.

Being part of a small-batch limited-edition pistols, the full-size, all-steel P320-SXG Reserve has been purposely designed for discerning enthusiasts and actually raise the bar of metal-framed pistols – “A luxury platform for an unrivaled shooting experience” is the claim.

Now, the usual specs: barrel is 3.9”/99 mm long; overall length is 208 mm and weight is 1,310 g. The pistol is optic-ready and factory fitted with XRAY3 Day/Night sights and comes with three 21-round magazines.

Price of the P320-SXG Reserve has not been officially confirmed, but this is a limited-run model that will be available for one year only.
