Pedersoli 1805 Baker Rifle

After several years successfully redefining the lever-action rifle market, Davide Pedersoli returns to its roots in style at the SHOT Show, presenting its replica of the British Baker rifle, the first rifled weapon ever adopted by the British Army. The Baker takes its name from its designer, gunsmith Ezekiel Baker, who built prototypes in his Whitechapel workshop, inspired by German Jaeger-style rifles. The Baker rifle was adopted by the British Army in 1801 and remained in service until 1838.
The original production run numbered approximately 22,000, some of which also made their way to Mexico and Brazil. Thanks to its rifled barrel, the Baker immediately earned a reputation as an extremely accurate weapon, so much so that it was initially issued to elite corps members of the British Army.
The Pedersoli Baker was created at the popular request of muzzle-loading enthusiasts around the world, the Pedersoli Baker is a flintlock firearm in .625 caliber featuring a Match PMG barrel with an original 1:120 twist rate. Behind its elegant appearance lies a wealth of technology: the CNC manufacturing of the lock components was meticulously crafted, making the Baker's trigger extremely clean and suitable for competition shooting. The Pedersoli Baker will be available in all markets in the coming months.

Kimber 1911 DS Warrior

One of Kimber's new products presented at SHOT Show 2026 is the double-stack, full-size 1911 DS Warrior, a pistol built on the now classic 2011-style frame and chambered in .38 Superauto, 9mmx19mm, .45 ACP, or 10mm Auto. The barrel length is five inches, but the 10mm Auto version is also available with a 6-inch barrel. Among the most interesting features of this powerful pistol is the grip module made of carbon fiber and glass-reinforced polymer, for excellent strength and flexibility. The metal part of the frame is made of aluminum for the 9mm version and stainless steel for all other calibers. Inside the frame is a MIL-SPEC quality recoil spring assembly and a barrel with a deep crown to protect from impacts. The sights consist of a fixed rear sight and a tritium front sight. A plate integral with the rear sight covers the RMR-footprint milling, which allows for the mounting of a mini red dot sight. As for manual controls, the safety is ambidextrous, while magazine release is reversible. The trigger is lightweight, requiring approximately 2 kilograms to release. Magazine capacity ranges from 13 rounds for the .45 ACP version to 20 for the .38 Superauto and 9mm versions. The Kimber retail price in the US is very attractive, around $1,299, which is not a lot for such a high-level, hand-tuned pistol in the US.

Hornady: all versions of 338 ARC and .22 Creedmoor cartridges

Hornady's booth at the Shot Show always offers plenty of talking points, and in 2026 the US company has also introduced some interesting updates to its extensive ammunition lineup. Let's start with the .338 ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge), a round that provides 1.5 times the energy of the subsonic .300 Blackout. The .338 ARC uses a 338-thousandths-of-an-inch (8.5 mm) diameter bullet in a 1.293" (32.8 mm) long case. The case head diameter is 0.441" (11.2 mm), the same as the 6mm Grendel and ARC. The overall length of the cartridge (2.260 inches, or 57.4 mm) and it is also designed for use in AR-15 type actions or very short bolt-action rifles without any modifications. Hornady offers five loads in this caliber: Black ammo with a 170-grain Monoflex bullet (muzzle velocity of 2,075 fps/632.5 meters per second), Black ammo with a 175-grain HP Match bullet and a V0 of 2,075 fps/632.5 meters per second), Black ammo with a 215-grain FTX bullet and a V0 of 1900 fps/580 meters per second. m/sec), with a 285-grain Frontier FMJ bullet (V0 1,050 fps/320 meters/sec), and finally in the subsonic version with a 307-grain Sub X bullet and a muzzle velocity of 1,050 fps/320 meters per second.

The .22 Creedmoor is derived from the legendary 6.5 Creedmoor, and like its illustrious predecessor, this cartridge was designed to deliver maximum accuracy and velocity. Using long, high-performance bullets, the .22 Creedmoor provides extremely flat trajectories, minimal windage, and exceptional long-range performance. Not only is this bullet suitable for varmint hunting, but it is equally effective for hunting small and medium-sized game, as well as for long-range sport shooting. With low recoil and high velocity, the .22 Creedmoor is an extremely versatile cartridge that can be used for a variety of hunting and long-range sport shooting activities. Hornady makes four different types of cartridges in this caliber:

V-Match: Specifically designed for varmint and predators hunting, where game preservation is not a priority. It stands out for its excellent terminal performance and accuracy. It uses a 69-grain ELD-VT bullet and has a muzzle velocity of 3,560 fps/1,085 meters per second.
Precision Hunter: Thanks to the 80-gram ELD-X bullet, it delivers spectacular terminal performance on deer-sized game. Muzzle velocity is 3,285 fps/1,000 meters per second.
Superformance: The 65-grain CX monolithic copper bullet offers excellent penetration and maximum weight retention. Muzzle velocity is 3,660 fps/1,115 meters per second.
Match: This competition ammo is designed to provide the ultimate in accuracy in long-range shooting competitions. Its 80-grain ELD Match bullet exits the muzzle at 3,285 fps/1,000 meters per second.
In addition to complete cartridges, Hornady also offers dies and accessories for home reloading this and many other pistol and rifle calibers.

Charter Arms Boomer and Pathfinder II revolvers

No front sight and no hammer spur (to eliminate any snagging during a draw), no underlug protection for the ejector rod (to save weight), and a tapered and ported 2″ barrel; plus, a .44 Special chambering. These are the selling points of the Boomer, the 5-shot compact double action only revolver for personal protection that Charter Arms showcased at the SHOT Show 2026. The manufacturer stresses that with 15,500 PSI the .44 special chamber delivers almost twice as much muzzle energy on target as the less powerful .38 special (17,000 PSI) and much lower recoil than a .357 Magnum (36,000 PSI), but with maximum stopping power. The ported barrel helps tame muzzle flip, and the lack of a front sight – to aim there is only a channel that runs along the top strap – is not a real problem, since the Boomer is a point-and-shoot, close range defensive revolver. The gun is constructed of stainless steel, with a matte-stainless finish. Grips are black rubber. Price is $500.

Charter Arms also brought the Pathfinder II to the SHOT Show, a double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .22 LR. Cylinder capacity is 8 rounds. Frame is aluminum, other components are stainless-steel the grip is compact rubber. Vented barrel is 3.5” long. Intended for plinking, target practice, and even small game hunting, the Pathfinder II comes with an orange aluminum ramp front sight for quick target acquisition and adjustable rear for accuracy. Finish options include black, stainless steel or OD green anodized frame & black passivate components like the model in the image. Price in the US is $510.61.
Rideout Arsenal Dragon
Manufactured in the USA by Rideout Arsenal, the Dragon is a revolutionary double-stack 9mm pistol. Every detail has been designed to reduce muzzle flip and speed up target realignment. The barrel bore axis sits lower than the grip spur and the barrel is fixed, while the slide is replaced by a lever-delayed blowback bolt. But its unique features don't end there: the red dot sight platform can be used as a cocking grip, but remains fixed during firing, increasing accuracy. Discover all the details of the Dragon in the clip and in this article on all4shooters.com.
