The year 2026 will be marked by some important events and anniversaries, as well as trade fairs dedicated to hunting and sport firearms, some of which are encouraging new developments.
This year Beretta will celebrate its 500th anniversary: the oldest invoice dates back to October 3, 1526, recording the payment of 296 ducats to Master Bartolomeo Beretta from Gardone for the delivery of 185 arquebus barrels to the Venice Arsenal. Although it is likely that the Beretta family had already been involved in barrel making for generations when the document was written, this officially attests that the Italian company boasts the distinction of being the oldest manufacturing company in the world still in operation. We can't reveal anything yet, but this extraordinary milestone will certainly be celebrated with special events throughout the year, and it will be a pleasure to be part of them and share them with you.
As for shooting sports, 2026 will bring the ISSF World Cup Final Rifle, Pistol & Shotgun to Rome, Italy – we will be there, of course. We will also cover all the usual major events, including SHOT Show, Enforce Tac and IWA, plus some new ones.
