IPSC Handgun World Shoot 2025 in South Africa: CZ secures several titles and medals – Eric Grauffel becomes world champion in the Production Optics Division for the tenth time

As the main sponsor of the IPSC Handgun World Shoot XX and a long-standing IPSC Global Partner, CZ (Česká Zbrojovka) once again presented itself as a driving force in international shooting sports. With great success: the CZ Shooting Team collected a total of ten medals in Matlosana  four gold, four silver and two bronze.

Eric Grauffel secures 10th World Championship title in a row – Robin Grauffel wins the Production Optics Junior category for the first time

The exceptional French athlete Eric Grauffel attracted the most attention. The legendary member of the CZ Shooting Team won his tenth world title in a row in the Production Optics Division, a record that is unrivalled in the history of dynamic shooting sports.

Particularly noteworthy, his son Robin Grauffel confirms the well-known saying "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" and won the junior title in the same division, i.e. Production Optics. The Grauffel family is thus writing a new chapter in sport shooting history. Incidentally, father and son both opted for the CZ Shadow 2 Orange OR.

CZ's commitment to dynamic shooting sports also pays off for the Czech firearms manufacturer

The IPSC Handgun World Shoot XX once again impressively demonstrates the outstanding quality of the CZ Shooting Team in international shooting sports. In particular, Eric Grauffel's historic performance and his son Robin's first world championship title symbolise the continuity and future of dynamic shooting.

But the main sponsor of the IPSC Handgun World Shoot has also seen its commitment pay off. With their successes in various divisions, CZ shooters have shown that the manufacturer's pistols, such as the CZ Shadow 2 CZ Orange, TS 2 Orange and the CZ 75 TS Czechmate, can perform at the highest level in the hands of top athletes – and continue CZ's success story in practical shooting.
