Taylor’s & Company, a US manufacturer not surprisingly based in Winchester, Virginia, specializes in Civil War and Old West replica guns from the 19th century. Their latest release is the TC73 Lever Action Rifle, a Winchester Model 1873-style lever action rifle “designed with performance in mind while maintaining the historic features of the lever gun that we all know and love”.

But the TC73 – which, by the way, is the first Taylor’s firearm manufactured by the company completely in the USA with 100% USA made parts – is chambered for the extremely popular 9mm handgun cartridge, making it the first tube-fed 9mm lever action ever made in the USA. Features include an improved carrier block design, lightened trigger pull, walnuit stock, hardened screws and fully machined internal parts, while receiver sports a case coloring finish – receivers being quenched one at a time. Action is also tuned on each rifle to provide smooth operation.

To top off the package, a rubber butt pad, a dovetailed white bead front sight and a semi-buckhorn rear sight. Barrel is 18”/45.7 cm long and 5/8x24 threaded. Magazine capacity is 10 rounds.
