The Big Horn Armory Model 89 Take Down is inspired by the Stevens 520 shotgun designed by John Browning in 1905 – the strongest take down design built up to that time – and embodies the enduring lever-action legacy of the Models 1886 and 1892.

The rifle is constructed with 17-4PH stainless steel and 416 stainless steel barrels, while all parts are precision machined using the latest CNC technology and surface hardened to Rc82 for durability, with a Nitride Hunter Black finish. Barrel is 18” long, equal to 457 mm, and capacity is six rounds.

The selected American black walnut stock and forend have a synthetic satin finish and are fitted with integral front and stud rear sling swivel mounts. A one-inch recoil pad makes felt recoil more manageable.

Other key features include a large, curved lever for ease of operation even with gloved hands. Mechanical sights are made up of a standard Skinner ghost ring rear sight paired with a white bead front sight for fast target acquisition.

Price for the Big Horn Armory Model 89 Take Down is $3,799.
