The presentation of the new course of EOS, the European Outdoor Show, was held in Rome, at the haeadquarters of Confindustria (the General Confederation of Italian Industry) in the presence of Giovanni Ghini, outgoing President of ANPAM - Italian National Association of Manufacturers of Sporting and Civilian Firearms and Ammunition), Pierangelo Pedersoli (President of ConArmI - Italian Gunmakers Consortium), Maurizio Zipponi (President of CNCN - National Hunting and Nature Committee) and Antonio Cellie (Managing Director of Fiere di Parma). After four editions in Verona, EOS Show is moving to the heart of the "Food Valley": the fifth edition will be held at Fiere di Parma from 28 to 30 March 2026. A choice shared by the main trade associations, marking the start of a phase of growth and strengthening of the event's international profile.
EOS Show is the Italian trade fair of reference for the hunting, shooting sports, outdoor, hunting tourism, technical clothing, fishing and light boating sectors. It is a unique event on the European exhibition scene, attracting enthusiasts, professionals and companies from all over the continent. The last edition in Verona recorded 40,000 visitors. Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma, says that organising EOS Show in Parma "means combining a fast-growing project with a barycentric exhibition ecosystem that is modern and open to innovation. The trust of the reference associations in the sector, owners of the brand, confirms the quality of the path undertaken and allows us to work right away with clear objectives: expanding sections and audiences, strengthening the international positioning and enhancing the experiential dimension of the event. Parma territory and exhibition center offer ideal spaces to develop new themed areas. The conditions for a new development phase for a successful event are also represented by the continuity of the team led by Patrizio Carotta."

In Italy, the hunting, shooting and outdoor sector generates an overall economic impact of around 8 billion euros, with over 88,000 employees and a strong vocation for exports (87% of turnover). At the European level, the sport and outdoor market exceeds 176 billion dollars, and is constantly growing. Shooting sports disciplines are a continuous source of medals for Italian sport, while Italian manufacturers of arms and ammunition represent world excellence. In these contexts, the evolution of EOS Show – also with new sections dedicated to hunting dog lovers, and food and wine – intercepts an expanding demand and confirms itself as a strategic opportunity for the entire supply chain.

"The hunting world," explains Maurizio Zipponi, CNCN President, "is undergoing an evolution that leads it to dialogue more and more with other worlds, such as agriculture, academia, and environmentalism. Hunting is at the basis of a supply chain that we are building, that of wild meat: being present in the Italian Food Valley, I am sure will make the sector grow in this direction as well. We are therefore particularly interested in Fiera di Parma's project, which places a wide network of subjects, interests and associations around the hunting activity, to confirm it as an assurance of sustainability and protection of biodiversity."
Moving the EOS Show to Parma will be accompanied by a new positioning in the calendar, almost 45 days later than the previous edition. A more favourable time window for sector operators, particularly for the hunting tourism sector.
"We welcome with great enthusiasm the opportunity to work on the growth of our sector with a valid and structured partner like Fiere di Parma," says Giovanni Ghini, outgoing President of ANPAM. "EOS is the main meeting point for all players in the world of arms, hunting and shooting sports. Doing it in the context of Parma will give us new stimuli with the ambition of being able to welcome as many users as possible at a national level."
EOS comes to an area where sport shooting is not just a practice, but a deep-rooted tradition and identity. Parma boasts a long history linked to hunting and shooting sports, testified by the presence of shooting ranges and facilities frequented by top-level athletes.

"The Consorzio Armaioli Italiani is certainly satisfied with the agreements made with Fiere di Parma and that they involve all the reference associations of our sector," states Pierangelo Pedersoli, President of ConArmI, the Italian Gunmakers' Consortium. "We can only look at the new location with optimism, also because of its central geographic location, which will allow us to satisfy a greater slice of enthusiasts. The proximity, not only physical, to the shooting range and the world of shooting are a further positive factor."
The 2026 edition will mark a quantum leap in terms of content and format. There will be new experiential areas within the exhibition centre, dedicated to all three macro thematic areas currently present – hunting, sport shooting and outdoor – with an expansion into new sections: hunting dog lovers, game-related food and wine, and fishing. With regard to the latter, Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma, and Pierangelo Pedersoli, President of ConArmI, highlighted some potential innovations of fundamental importance: the possible amalgamation of the Fishing area of EOS with another event, such as Carp Parma, the international carpfishing exhibition, which could be strategically timed at the beginning of February, therefore in time for the best of the season, and the proximity Parma shooting range, just 1.2 km from the exhibition centre, where real open days could be organised to try out firearms, accessories and ammunition on the firing lines.
The EOS Show will also evolve in format, integrating a hybrid B2B and B2C structure designed to broaden its international appeal, without sacrificing the strong experiential component that has made it a point of reference for enthusiasts, professionals and trade operators.
With this new edition, the EOS Show is preparing to build a new-generation trade fair experience, in which passion for the outdoors meets a platform designed to enhance content, business and community.
