Beretta A400 500 Years Special Edition, not just appearance

The Beretta A400 500 Years Special Edition features an aerospace-grade aluminum receiver with a nickel-plated finish and gold inlays.

Beyond its striking appearance, this special edition fully retains the technical excellence that defines Beretta’s most advanced gas-operated platforms. At its core is the proven B-Link gas system, engineered for exceptionally fast cycling, dependable function, reduced felt recoil, and compatibility with a broad range of loads. The rotating bolt and self-cleaning piston work in unison to ensure speed, reliability, and low maintenance in the field.

The cold-hammer forged Steelium barrel with extended double forcing cone – up to 80 mm on 76 cm barrels—to optimize energy transfer and deliver dense, uniform shot patterns. The 6x6 mm flat top rib promotes a clean sighting plane, while the barrel is designed to perform consistently with different cartridge types.

The shotgun also features an aluminum trigger group tuned for a lighter, crisper pull, reduced travel, and a shorter reset, enhancing control and speed on follow-up shots. A competition-style lifter streamlines loading under any condition, allowing smoother cartridge insertion and reducing the risk of thumb bite. Handling is equally refined. The redesigned stock geometry includes a larger checkered gripping area and an ambidextrous palm swell for improved purchase and control. Completing the package is Beretta’s B-uffer recoil pad, designed for long-term resistance to weather and wear while contributing to overall shooting comfort.
