After Swarovski Optik gave its Z8i line a facelift with improved ergonomics last year, three riflescope families from the traditional Tyrolean manufacturer will be supplied with new and revised models in 2026: the Z6i series with 6x zoom, the compact Z5i+ class and the latest generation of the smart Swarovski Optik flagship dS.
The company wants to emphasise its claim "by hunters for hunters" once again and offer up-to-date solutions for different hunting styles and requirements in the high-class segment from Austrian production: “With these new products, we are reaffirming what SWAROVSKI OPTIK stands for: premium craftsmanship and precision made in Austria. For more than 75 years, we have been deeply rooted in the hunting community and kept our ears to the ground, listening to what hunters most want and need. This close connection enables us to deliver high-end optics tailored to individual requirements – combining tradition, innovation, and uncompromising quality," said Johannes Oberdanner, CEO of Swarovski Optik, when announcing the new riflescopes.
Swarovski Optik launches the new dS 4-24x50 P – Smart precision for demanding hunting situations
The spearhead of the innovations is the latest, third generation of the smart top-of-the-range dS riflescope, with which Swarovski Optik has been inspiring the hunting world since 2017 (first dS generation). But let's stay with the optical and mechanical changes first: with the dS 4-24x50 P, Swarovski Optik is covering a new range compared to its predecessor, the dS Gen. II 5-25x52 P with 6x zoom, Swarovski Optik covers a somewhat broader range of applications. The lower entry point at 4x magnification makes the dS 4-24x50 P even more flexible to use, from stalking at medium ranges to precise shots at long ranges. Even with the smart function deactivated, the dS Gen. II 5-25x52 P was already a premium riflescope. However, according to the manufacturer, the revised optical system now offers even better detail recognition with a wider field of view and the usual high Swarovski image quality.
However, the top feature of the dS 4-24x50 P remains the state-of-the-art digital ballistics calculator, which takes into account distance, shooting angle, environmental conditions and the hunter's personal ammunition data at the touch of a button. As usual, integration with the Swarovski Optik Hunting app enables personal ballistics profiles to be saved, shots to be documented and the firmware to be updated wirelessly. The sales launch of the dS 4-24x50 P is planned for March 2026. Price tag will be around the 5,000 euro mark.

Swarovski Optik new generation Z6i riflescopes – Proven concept with ergonomic improvements
The Z6i series from Swarovski Optik has been one of the most popular riflescopes in the premium segment for years and is now being presented with a fresh facelift, similar to the Z8i class last year. Swarovski Optik offers four models of the new generation: Z6i 1-6x24, Z6i 1.7-10x42, Z6i 2.5-15x50 P (BT) and Z6i 4-24x56 P BT. The product line thus covers the entire spectrum from driven hunts to all-rounders and precision hide hunting.
According to the manufacturer, the revised Z6i series focuses on improved handling during operation and a more forgiving eyebox, which should make it easier to look safely through the scope even in difficult shooting positions. As before, the 1-6x24 model is aimed at hunters on the move, while the 4-24x56 P BT, with its high maximum magnification and large objective lens, has also been classically designed for demanding shooting situations in twilight. The new Z6i riflescopes are already available from specialist retailers in Europe at a price range from about 2,000 to about 2,400 euro, depending on the model.

Z5i+ MRAD riflescopes – Compact long-range specialists from Swarovski Optik for mountain hunting

With the two new models Z5i+ 3.5-18x50 P BT L MRAD and Z5i+ 5-25x56 P BT L MRAD, Swarovski Optik is expanding its Z5i+ lineup with MRAD-based elevation adjustment. While the previous Z5i+ models were mainly equipped with MOA or ballistic turrets, the new MRAD version is aimed specifically at the European market.
The Z5i+ series is characterised by its compact design and low weight – welcome features for mountain hunting, where every gram counts. The 3.5-18x50 model offers a practical magnification range for alpine hunting situations, while the 5-25x56 model with its higher max magnification was designed for particularly long ranges. Both variants have parallax compensation (P) and ballistic turrets (BT) and are designed for ring mounting (L). Price for the new Z5i+ 3.5-18x50 P BT L MRAD is about 2,300 euro; some 100 euros more for the Z5i+ 5-25x56 P BT L MRAD model.
