The ADC - Armi Dallera Custom company − headquartered in the northern Italian town of Manerbio − once known mainly for its high-grade line of custom 1911-type pistols for defensive and sport shooting purposes, has now been offering for years one of the most highly sought after line of competition and tactical-oriented custom and semi-custom AR-15 rifles and carbines, available to civilian shooters and professional operators in Italy and all throughout Europe.

At the 2015 edition of the IWA OutdoorClassics expo in Nuremberg (Germany), the ADC company announced that their line of rifles will soon be boosted by the launch of a tactical bolt-action long-range rifle, once again conceived for civilian sport shooters and for MIL/LE customers alike.

Simply dubbed the ADC "Tactical Rifle", chambered for the 7,62x51mm/.308 Winchester round, this new rifle comes with a standard bolt action manufactured out of special steel. The system is fully compatible with Remington 700 actions, but the factory action comes with three locking lugs, which also dub as the primary extractors of the spent shell upon re-chambering; a secondary Sako-type extractor does the rest of the work.

The ADC bolt-action "Tactical Rifle" design will be available with 21", 24" or 26" barrels, all with a 1:11" or a 1:12" rifling pitch and a three-chambers muzzle compensator which also dubs as a quick-attachment point for silencers or sound suppressors.

The three-lever trigger of the bolt-action ADC "Tactical Rifle" comes equipped with a tactical-style safety switch, and the system feeds through Accuracy International AX detachable magazines. The lightweight machined aluminum alloy chassis is fully machined and treated to provide resistance to scratches and corrosion, as well as to be glare-proof. A full-lenght, solid 20 MOA MIL-STD-1913 "Picatinny" rail provides a long attachment point for optical or electro-optical aiming devices and other coupled systems, such as infrared or thermal night vision devices. The ventilated free-fload handguard is equipped with shorter rail segments, providing an attachment point for bipods or other tactical accessories.

The ADC bolt-action "Tactical Rifle" system comes issued with an AR-15 type pistol grip, and is compatible with any AR-15 pistol grip out there as well as with most, if not all, accessories available on the custom market for AR-15/M16/M4 derivative civilian and MIL/LE rifles and carbines. The factory-issued buttstock is side-folding and can be adjusted for lenght of pull; the cheekpiece is also adjustable in height and comes with slip-proof inserts. Alternatively, the factory buttstock can be removed and replaced with any AR-15 type collapsible buttstock.
