The Chinese-based Favour Light Company is a manufacturer of LED-based hand-held flashlights offering one of the best price-to-quality ratio on the market today. Their popularity has been steadily on the rise in the past years in Europe and in north America as well, pushed by the excellent manufacturing quality and the good performance levels of the company products.

At the 2015 edition of the IWA OutdoorClassics expo in Nuremberg (Germany), the Favour Light Company showcased the new X-Blaze line of pocket, utility, defensive and tactical flashlights.

As of today, the X-Blaze line includes five models, all built out of solid machined and hard-anodized aluminum and featuring XP-G2, XP-G, XP-L o XM-L Cree LEDs, and all waterproof and shock-proof up to one meter, but all different in dimensions, performance, and other features.

The AT82C1N001 model is 117mm long, with a 29mm circumference and an overall weight of 124 grams; it is powered by a 3,7V, 600mAh 14430 Li-Ion Micro USB rechargeable flashlight. The front reflector provides a maximum range of 175 metres, and the tailcap allows the user to select between four output modes: high (300 Lumens and 7600 candela, for two hours of battery runtime), medium (150 Lumens and 3500 candela, for three hours and a half of battery runtime), low (15 Lumens and 400 candela, for 30 hours of battery runtime) and 8Hz flashing.

The more powerful ATL2C1N001 model is 139mm long, sports a 33mm circumference and is powered by a Micro USB rechargeable Li-Ion 18650 battery. The reflector provides a maximum range of 250 metres, and can be set for a high output mode (800 Lumens and 15000 candela, four hours of battery runtime), mid-output mode (400 Lumens and 8000 candela, for seven hours of battery runtime) and low output mode (40 Lumens and 830 candela for fifty hours of runtime).

The smaller and much simpler AT80C2B002 model is 158mm long and powered by two AA batteries; the two available constant output modes offer up to 180 Lumens and a 125-metres range (battery runtime: 1 hour) or up to 20 Lumens and a 40-metres range (battery runtime: 40 hours). A fast flashing mode for signalling purposes offers a continuous battery runtime of four hours and a half.

The AT70C1B011 model is 108mm long, sports a 29mm circumference and 92 grams of overall weight; it is powered by a single AA battery and offers three output modes: an 8Hz flashing mode, a maximum output mode (105 Lumen, 90 minutes of continuous battery runtime) and a minimum output mode (10 Lumens and 17 hours of continuous battery runtime).

Last, the ATL0C2L003 model is powered by two CR123A batteries, and can be employed in an 8Hz strobe mode, in a maximum output mode of 560 Lumens for two hours of continuous battery runtime, or in a minimum output mode of 45 Lumens for twenty hours of battery runtime.
