The all4shooters.com team toured the most important arms fairs to bring you only the best of whatever new the gun industry has to offer for 2012!
Every year, for a few days in January and March respectively, the center of mass of the global arms, apparel and accessories industry for hunting, sports shooting, personal/property defense, private security and law enforcement moves to the sunny Nevada desert for the SHOT Show in Las Vegas, and to the chilly Nuremberg (Germany) for the IWA expo. There, the international industry meets to take stock of its situation, of the global state of the market, to confront on new ideas and concept, and to proudly showcase its new products, inventions and technological breakthroughs. One of the peculiarities of the gun industry is that this remains true even in dire economic moments, such as the one we are living in right now: sure, the halls of the Sands Expo & Convention Center that hosted the SHOT Show and those of the Nüremberg-Messe that hosted the IWA were less crowded this year, a quite concrete evidence of the current economic downs, but this doesn't means that new products were in any lesser number or proportion than in the past years, nor that they gathered less interests or that less contracts were signed. On the contrary, the industry and the market both seemed to be taking their own anti-slump stimulus measures, proofing to be able to boom even in these years of recession. So, here comes the best from the dynamic, flamboyant, typically American SHOT Show and from the prim, measured, stylish, European IWA, for your viewing pleasure. And mind that most of what you see may hit the gun shops near to you very soon, so keep your eyes open for what might be your next object of desire!
