New for 2016 from Mossberg is a specialized version of the 12-gauge Model 500 pump-action shotgun – factory-issued with the entire Scorpion furniture from ATI. The TactLite T4 stock is fully adjustable, sports a recoil pad and offers no snag points – plus it features dual-sided QD attachment points, and a single-point sling mount insert above the grip that can be faced left or right for shooter comfort.
The free-floating ATI Halo heatshield avoids all metal-to-metal contact with the barrel, and sports a front dovetail rail attachment with two 2” rails for the convenience of adding accessories and a shield-mounted, front post sight provides for quick target acquisition. Completing the accessory package is the ATI Halo side saddle for shotshells, which mounts directly to the tapped receiver.
The Mossberg 500 ATI Scorpion pump-action shotgun is an US-only product, available exclusively through TALO distributors. No suggested retail price has been made public so far.
