Introduced at 2016 Shot Show the new Invictus V, a 12 gauge over-under shotgun that employs the same technology that its predecessors are known for, plus a few noteworthy additions. One of the more noticeable features is the long graceful side plate action with full-coverage engraving. At first glance you cannot help but notice the incredible detail in the actions full-coverage engraving.
This embellishment employs no fewer than four different engraving techniques to attain the final result. The frame is then rendered in a hand-polished coin finish with the proprietary Invisalloy coating that makes this work of art rust resistant. To complement the metal work, the stock is crafted from a deluxe grade of Turkish Walnut with a semi-gloss oil finish to bring out the beauty of the wood.
Aside from the Invictus V’s stunning appearance, the technology itself gets an upgrade as well, most notably a new trigger system called DTS II. This new competition trigger incorporates the speed, crispness and weight that make the Invictus V the perfect weapon for world-class competitors. Durability is also one of the best feature of this gun as exclusive Invictus System makes it possible to eliminate any play in the lower barrel lug area by replacing the Invictus block, prolonging the operative life of this gun.
“We set out to make a shotgun that is the ideal tool for world class shooters and with the new Invictus V, I am certain we have accomplished our goal. The new trigger system and unbelievable durability of the Invictus action combine to make a world class competition shotgun.” declaered Wesley Lang, President of Caesar Guerini USA.
