Sporting clays is a shooting discipline that simulates hunting. In a sporting clays course the shooter takes on targets that mimic the flight of birds and the running of the hares, starting with the weapon held down.
This is a very exciting form of shooting, which is also an excellent form of training for hunters, who can keep their reflexes quick and improve their ability to anticipate the flight of the clay target. But let's talk about the Invictus III by Caesar Guerini, a shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. The Invictus III shares all the basic technical characteristics of this successful series of over-and-under shotguns, starting from the replaceable hinge pins on the barrel that, in symbiosis with the "Invictus block" (which also easy to replace), enable an easy restoration of the locking system.
Invictus III, all the best for sporting clays
The Caesar Guerini Invictus III is equipped in this version with 31.9 in / 810 mm long barrels with a ventilated top conical rib, as well as a ventilated side rib. The white sight is spherical. The 2.5 in/70 mm cartridge chamber benefits from the Maxisbore internal profile which allows for a higher pellets speed at the same time reducing their deformation. The trigger is single-selective, with an adjustable golden trigger. The stock is of selected walnut wood, with a 1.3-2.1 in / 35-55 mm drop and a rubber pad.
A set of Maxischoke Competition internal chokes completes the package. The Caesar Guerini Invictus III has some luxury details even in terms of aesthetics: its steel receiver is in fact richly engraved with flowers with elegant gold inlays. The weight of the Invictus III is about 3.5 kilograms.
The retail price is around 5400 euro including VAT.
