Among the many new products introduced by Savage Arms at the 2016 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, the .22 Winchester magfnum caliber A22 semiautomatic rifle is definitely one of the most exciting – conceived to deliver accuracy and reliability in a semiautomatic magnum rimfire platform.
Patterned after its predecessor – the Savage Arms A17 – both in terms of modern look and working system, the Savage Arms A22 sports a groubdbreaking delayed-blowback semiautomatic action for extended durability and quality. The caliber has been shifted to the powerful .22 Magnum, and the detachable magazine holds up to ten rounds. The 21” barrel couples to an appealingly-designed black synthetic stock. The projected retail price is set at less than 500$ in the United States.
