The renowned manufacturer Sabatti, based in Val Trompia, Italy, offers a wide selection of weapons for hunting and sports. The offer includes shotguns, combined weapons as well as single-loading, multi-loading and automatic rifles. The Sabatti STR (Sabatti Tactical Rifle) Sport is the latest addition to the extensive range of sporting rifles. However, while its predecessor, was designed mainly for precision target shooting, the STR has been created for tactical “field” applications where superior accuracy is required. The chassis, stock butt and grip of the Sabatti STR Sport tactical rifle are CNC machined from a block of high resistance Ergal 55.
The Sabatti STR Sport has an external magazine release lever and a 28 mm diameter muzzle, but that’s not all. It has a new, bigger front grip with an Anschutz type double rail mount built into the lower tube for standard rear bag placement to give you greater stability to take the shot. The stock doesn’t fold down.
At SHOT Show 2017 Sabatti also presented their STR US rifle, which is similar to the STR, but has an interchangeable tactical bolt handle.
The Sabatti STR US comes with an Accuracy International compatible 10-shot mag (limited to 5 shots for the Italian market). The STR US rifle also has an external magazine release lever for fast use during dynamic target shooting competitions.
