First showcased in early 2016 during the gun industry's trade shows season, the G-Magnum 1250 model is Gamo.
Known simply as the Gamo Magnum in the United States, the new G-Magnum 1250 air rifle was developed to offer a good design, power and accuracy package to the most demanding airgunners in Europe and north America as well.
Spurred on by the persistent market demand for increased power at an affordable price, the Gamo company offers the G-Magnum 1250 air rifle in a 4,5mm/.177 and a 5,5mm/.22 variant, thus meeting the needs and tastes of recreational shooters, target shooters, varmint hunters and pest control professionals.

Built around an ambidextrous ERGOGAMO thumbhole stock − a black synthetic, ergonomically-designed, all-weather stock offering a soft cheek riser, a rubberized pistol grip and rubberized slip-proof forend − the Gamo G-Magnum 1250 sports a black steel frame and break-open 42cm/19-inch long barrel, with an increased twist rate of 1:22" specifically developed for the G-Magnum 1250 to provide increased muzzle velocity and accuracy.
The Gamo G-Magnum 1250 air rifle comes with a fixed hooded, high-visibility fiber-optic front sight; a high-accuracy rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation; and an RRR ("Recoil Reducing Rail") scope rail designed to decrease the amount of shock and stress that is delivered to scopes by high powered air rifles. Gamo's latest groundbreaking technology, the RRR or "Triple R" rail significantly reduces the amount of stress and increases the lifespan of any airgun scope.

A truly high-power air rifle, the Gamo G-Magnum 1250 ditches the traditional spring system for a 33mm on-board Gamo Power air cylinder and Gamo's own IGT Mark 1 inert gas technology propulsion system that provides a blistering high level of muzzle energy and muzzle velocity, in any caliber: 45 Joules of muzzle energy and 470 mps/1,650 fps for the 4,5mm/.177 variant; and 36 Joules and 380 mps/1,300 fps for the 5,5mm/.22 variant.
Other features of the Gamo G-Magnum 1250 include an SWA ("Shock Wave Absorber") buttpad, reducing felt recoil levels up to 74%; and a CAT "Custom Action Trigger", one of the best in its class on the airguns market, allowing the shooter to independently adjust the trigger pull to his or her preference.
The Gamo G-Magnum 1250 air rifle is 121 cm (47.64") long overall, and weighs about three kilograms (6.61 lb).
Distribution is currently kicking off in Europe, at a street price ranging anywhere between 350 and 400 Euros depending from the Country.
Availability in the United States should start soon; MSRP for the U.S. has been set at $299.99 for both calibers, and that includes a factory-issued 3-9×40 AO riflescope.
