CZ Scorpion EVO-3 S1 semiautomatic carbine

CZ-USA introduces the Scorpion EVO-3 S1 Carbine in 9mm caliber at the 2016 SHOT Show
Available either with or without a barrel shroud that mimicks the apparence of a silencer, the Scorpion EVO-3 S1 Carbine is a long-barreled variant of the EVO-3 S1 model

Patterned on the lauded submachinegun platform that first hit the US civilian market in pistol form in 2015 and the European civilian markets as an SBR a couple of years earlier, the 9mm-caliber CZ Scorpion EVO-3 S1 Carbine sports a 16.2″ barrel fitted with either a compensating muzzle brake or a faux suppressor built specifically for CZ-USA by SilencerCo.

Fit with the factory’s folding adjustable stock, the Carbine features a number of US-made parts to make it fully 922(r) compliant. These include a newly-designed M-LOK forend, low-profile aluminum adjustable sights round out the platform, and a top Picatinny rail. The CZ Scorpion EVO-3 S1 Carbine also features ambidextrous controls and a reversible non-reciprocating charging handle, as well as an adjustable trigger.

Available only in 9x19mm caliber so far, and feeding through the Scorpion's signature translucent plastic magazines, the CZ Scorpion EVO-3 S1 Carbine will soon be available on ther U.S. civilian market at $999.
