It's a semi-automatic full size handgun that will probably be the Ruger proposal for USA solicitation of an handgun meeting the requirements  to be suitable for MHS (Modular Handgun System) contract. The German manufacturer, that last year had presented a back-up revolver light and relatively cheap, this year will appeal to competitors that participate in certain IPSC tournaments with a revolver whose trigger is crisp and perfect, adjustable from the outside of the gun, with factory setting to four different distances. The window of the rear sight is adjustable in width, the caliber is the .357 Magnum and the cylinder does not have counterbore to reduce costs

The S stands for Stainless and indeed stainless steel is the material of choice for this revolver, which is attracting attention as Kimber, well known for its semi-automatic pistols, had never dealt before with this type of weapon. The calibre is .357 Magnum, the cylinder is the less large than every other one in that caliber on the market, the weapon is operated in double action only

Remington RM380

Remington’s RM380 double action only subcompact semiautomatic pistol is based on the previous Scarborough R380 pistol, redesigned to add new features – such as a thumb operated magazine release on the grip rather than on the heel – and lower the retail price. Chambered for the .380 ACP round, the RM380 features a whole metal construction, a 6 round magazine and machined low profile sights.

Slightly out of sight at the Silencerco booth was the Maxim 9 – a prototype locked breech, striker-fired, light double action 9x19mm caliber pistol feeding through 17-rounds magazines, originally conceived as a custom modification of the popular Smith & Wesson M&P-9 model, then evolved with in-house production of key components such as the polymer frame and the massive slide. Silencerco is a sound suppressors manufacturer, and the Maxim 9 pistol features an integrally silenced barrel that allows it to be fired reliably in semi-automatic mode while being nearly as quiet as a manually-operated integrally-suppressed pistol such as the Welrod or the newer B&T VP9. Being an integrally silenced handgun, it will be unavailable on most civilian markets worldwide.
