Advertised by SIG Sauer as “the ultimate concealed carry pistol”: the new P365 is a high-capacity micro-compact striker-fired pistol. The P365 Nitron Micro-Compact is chambered in 9mm Luger and is rated for +P ammunition. Noteworthy is its patent-pending, narrow-neck, modified double-stack magazine that holds 10 rounds in both the flush-fit and extended versions, plus one in the chamber. This means a full capacity of 11 rounds.
Features of the P365 Nitron Micro-Compact from SIG Sauer
The magazine design allows the upper part of the grip to be perfectly contoured to fit the shooter’s thumb when fired.
An optional 12-round extended magazine is also available, bringing the total capacity to 13 rounds.
According to the Manufacturer, this allows the owner to carry more and everyday, or 365 days a year - hence the name.
The P365 is 1 inch (25 mm) wide, 5.8 inches (147 mm) long, and 4.3 inches (109 m) tall with a barrel length of 3.1 inches (78 mm). It weighs just 17.8 ounces (504 g) with empty magazine.
SIG Sauer claims that “the unique grip design and higher grip to bore axis reduces perceived recoil and makes the P365 as comfortable to shoot as many mid-sized pistols”. Frame is polymer, and the grip is fully-textured for a better purchase. A slim-line rail can accommodate SIG light or laser accessories. The slide is stainless steel slide with front and rear serrations.

The suggested retail price for the P365 Nitron Micro-Compact is 599 USD (502 euro, excl. tax).
Included standard is SIGLITE night sights for faster sight acquisition under all lighting conditions, a 10-round flush fit magazine and a 10-round extended magazine. If you want a 12-Round Extended Magazine you must add 55.00 USD, and 49.00 for a 10-Round Flush Mag / 10-Round Base-Extension.
SIG announces that it will be launching several new products specifically designed to complement the P365 Nitron Micro-Compact. These products will include ammunition optimized for everyday carry, a high-performance weapon light, a laser sight, a P365 compatible suppressor and even a P365 air pistol.
