The well-known gun-manufacturer GLOCK offers two models of their famous pistols in an limited edition. Due to the huge interest of their customers expressed in purchasing GLOCK polymer-framed pistols, the limited edition pistol models featuring slides with front serrations (FS).
GLOCK pistols with front serrations
The front serrations provide a different look and an additional tactical surface. When manipulating the slide giving the operator positive traction even with wet or sweaty hands. This new design offers the advantage for professional shooters to do a fast press check before and after firing.
The user may grip the slide by the front serrations with the weak hand and move it to the rear until a clear view of the chamber is possible in order to ensure that a round is properly chambered. When done correctly the hand gets nowhere near the muzzle of the pistol.
In addition, the slide has more grip to allow the gun to be loaded more easily and without much effort.
The configuration of the limited editoin pistols will be including steel front and rear sights, extended slide stop lever and extended reversible magazine catch. The available models are GLOCK G17 Gen4 FS in 9x19 and GLOCK G19 Gen4 FS in 9mm Luger as well.
