For a long time, the Danish-based ASG – ActionSportGames A/S company has been offering a line of CO2-operated, 6mm airsoft revolvers under the licensed Dan Wesson brand. Those revolvers, albeit offering a good construction quality and performance, have always been based on a somewhat common and very generic design.
This year, though – and coincidentally with Dan Wesson's reintroduction of its revolvers line in 2015 – ASG showcases a new DW-715 double-action airsoft revolver replica that mirrors exactly the look and feel of the Dan Wesson 715 .357 Magnum caliber model.
Available in two different power gauges for Europe and the United States, the DW-715 is offered in a black and stainless variant – both hosting a standard 12g CO2 canister in their ergonomically-shaped, Hogue-style pistol grip and feeding through a cylinder that hosts up to six pellets inserted one at the time in fake .38-Special–style cartridges. Accessories such as scope mounts are available. The DW715 replica from ASG is already available in Europe for around 150€ and in the United States for about $150.00.
