The last collaboration of Maserin Cutlery in Maniago (Italy) with the designer Moris Baroni produced the "Shaped Citizen", an effective and very light pocket-sized multi-tool.
Maserin Shaped Citizen: features
With this model Maserin expands its line of "Tool knives" that a few years ago had seen the introduction of the Dynamic 212 model specifically designed for sports shooters and equipped with screwdrivers for adjusting the sights and for small maintenance interventions.
The Maserin Shaped Citizen is equipped with a 2.5-in / 65 mm-long, 0.039-in / 2.5 mm-thick main blade, a can opener, a bottle opener, a flathead screwdriver, a screwdriver with various keys and measures and comes with a snaphook to hang it on your belt or backpack.
Maserin Shaped Citizen, an inexpensive “made in Italy” knife
The tools and blade are made of Aisi 440C stainless steel and black, orange or blue G10 (a glass-based epoxy resin laminate) for the handles. The main blade and the tools are locked open by a tried and tested liner-lock system. The length open is 135 mm, the weight is 3.4 oz / 98 grams. The blade is available with a satin stainless steel finish or with a black anti-corrosion coating.
