Save the Date: January 17–22, 2017. The countdown for the most important trade show in the world for civil weapons, accessories, hunting, outdoor clothing and law enforcement has already begun. The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the American specialist association for firearms, is hosting SHOT Show 2017, the leading expo for all new weapon innovations. The expo will take place at a familiar location: in the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Each year, more than 1,600 exhibitors from over 100 nations come to SHOT Show to present their latest innovations. This leading international expo is the place to showcase not only the hottest new products, but also industry trends and market developments from the fields of firearms, ammunition and accessories for sports marksmen, hunters, and the authorities. Numerous premieres of brand-new products will be presented to a selected audience at the “Industry Day at the Range” on the day before SHOT Show.
Industry Day at the Range at SHOT Show 2017
The SHOT Show Industry Day at the Range will be held on 1/16/2017 at the shooting ranges of the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club – one day before the official opening of SHOT Show 2017.
Over 200 exhibitors and companies will have the opportunity to present their latest weapons and products to the press and selected retailers at this event.
Over 1,600 invited guests will be able to test the new weapons for themselves at the shooting ranges, and will have an entire day to examine the new products in detail. For eleven years, the Industry Day at the Range has served as a meeting point for representatives of the press and manufacturers.
We expect SHOT Show 2017 to break all visitor records thus far, and that a wide range of new products will be on display. After all, based on the information from a recent report on weapons exports by the German federal government, exports of ammunition for handheld firearms from Germany increased tenfold in the first half of 2016! The branch is therefore booming. We are looking forward to finding out what the manufacturers will be bringing to market next year.
