SHOT Show 2016 breaks its own visitors record

The US weapons industry is reportedly doing quite well. But the weapons, ammunition and accessories business is also flourishing in Europe. The mood at the SHOT Show 2016 can best be described in a single word: “Bombastic.”

From the industry side, there were many new products, upgrades and even the founding of new companies such as PMG (Prime Manufacturing Group), which in the future will pool Arsenal Firearms, Salient and Prime Ammunition brands under one roof.

But the organizers of the SHOT Show are of course tirelessly working on new ideas to market the event even more effectively. For example, SHOT Show 2016 broadcast its own fair television show for the first time in more than 70,000 hotel rooms. Another big attraction was the new NEXT pavilion, where more than 100 weapons dealers who had not previously managed to grab one of the highly sought-after exhibitor spots in the fair rooms had a separate platform to display their products.

Let’s talk briefly about on its own account. Over the four days of the trade show, we issued more than 150 press releases in all the languages taken together, and our 7 Facebook channels were “glowing” in all languages and won over many new fans. New: We are also now on Instagram. And while there were 64,000 industry professionals live directly on site in the USA at the SHOT Show, we had about 100,000 visits to our website over the five days of the event, including the Industry Day! Wow – and thanks to all our fans all over the world.

By the way, next year the SHOT Show will be held from 17 to 20 January 2017, again at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
