The first edition of the HIT - Hunting, Individual protection, Target Sports Show is due to open next Saturday, 02/14/2015, and to close next Monday, 02/16/2015. The three-days show will in all intents and purposes replace the now-defunct EXA as Italy's national civilian gun industry's trade show, although with a bold spirit of conceptual and factual innovation over the earlier's format.
While we wait for the Vicenza City fairgrounds to open to industry professionals and law enforcement professionals, specialized press members and gun enthusiasts from all around Europe, let's have a look at the rich and interesting program of the events that will take place during and around the show. Most notably, the HIT Show introduces a groundbreaking new kind of side events in the field of purely civilian gun industry trade shows, particularly for the Italian industry: these three days will be packed with real-time, real-life simulations of armed, melee and hand-to-hand self-defense techniques for civilians, law enforcement officers and private security operators, who face the mounting threat of violent crime day by day.
What follows is the official events programme. Bookmark the ones you wish to participate to − there will be thirty-nine in the span of three days, covering all aspects of hunting, sports shooting and self-defense − and remember to book yourselves to those who require a reservation. The HIT Show is just ahead!
