The Finnish-based Lapua company has been offering the Naturalis line of bullets and ammunition ever since the year 2002; at the 2016 edition of the SHOT Show, the Company introduces the third generation of one of the first even lead-free hunting bullets, conceived for those Countries or jurisdictions where the use of lead core bullets is forbidden.
The new Naturalis design provides consistend and controlled espansion thanks to its state-of-the-art technology and design, featuring a polymer tip valve exploiting hydraulic force to create the optimum mushrooming effect at the widest velocity range on the market. The bullet is designed and manufactured by using pure copper.
The material, design and controlled expansion ensures a solid and nearly unbreakable construction. The weight retention, even after impacting on heavy bone, is frequently 100% of its original weight.
The boat tail design eases reloading, and together with the streamlined ogive provides improved downrange ballistics. The Lapua Naturalis factory loads are available in eleven popular hunting calibers; seven different ball variants for reloading are also distributed.
