Mostly known to the general public for its extensive airsoft and airgun production lines, the German-based Umarex company also offers a dedicated line of non-lethal self-defense products, which are extremely sought-after and popular all through Europe, although with the due differences from Country to Country depending from the legal status of some of those.
At the 2016 edition of IWA, Umarex boosted its Defense products line with a plethora of new entries; among those are the Walther PDP self-defense pepper spray; several new alarm and blank-firing pistol models and their dedicated ammunition, some with a pepper payload; some products specifically dedicated to all the ladies out there such as the Lady No.1 pepper spray or the Perfecta shrill alarms line, available in three different variants and legal even where other self-defense instruments aren't; and, last but not least, some training-oriented entries such as the Walther Pro-Secur water-based training spray or the T4E .43-caliber paintball launcher, which can be used as a direct non-lethal defense tool if combined with its dedicated rubber-ball or powder-ball ammunition.
Some of the new Umarex Defense products for the year 2016 are already in distribution; others will be launched before June. In the meanwhile, enjoy the video and feel free to read and download the 2016 Umarex defense products catalogue, listing all the new entries!
