Changing the caliber of the SIG Sauer P220 X series models from .45 ACP to the less expensive 9 mm Luger caliber is a bit time consuming. SIG Sauer now helps by offering a new locking insert as an accessory for their sport pistols.
"We are pleased to offer users of the P220 X-Series with our new locking insert a solution that makes the frequent caliber change more pleasant" said Sales Manager Hendrik Giessler.
The locking insert costs 119 euro and is only available through qualified SIG Sauer retailers and for permit holders only. Even older models of the first generation of the P220 X-Series can be equipped with the new locking insert.
"To supply users of older models with new spare parts is part of the service of SIG Sauer”, added Hendrik Gießler in a press release.
