Features of the First Tactical Operator Boots
The Operator Boots from First Tactical are perfect suitable for every mission: they are lightweight and breathable but maintain the durability needed for special operations. The 7" height boots have a Torsion Flex™ fiberglass reinforced composite shank. It is 75% lighter than steel.
The Operator Boot takes inspiration from athletic shoes, providing the flexibility and comfort you expect from a running shoe but with the durability of your favourite tactical boot.
The Operator Boot features a lightweight yet tough synthetic upper providing agility while welded construction ensures the boots can stand up to high-level missions. The Ortholite® foam top layer is breathable, moisture wicking and fungus fighting. With enhanced airflow pockets these boots are well ventilated and will provide comfort on the warmest of days. Nothing is worse than having constantly sweaty feet.
The durable rubber outsole is oil and slip resistant and gives a secure grip on slippery, wet and steep terrain. A strategically placed Achilles flex point allows the freedom of movement e.g. on kneeling positions. A lightweight TPU Heel Clip provides extra support and stability through the heel cup and during heel strike. Furthermore, the boot has integrated knife pockets on both sides.
First Tactical's "Operator Boot": conclusions
The Operator Boot is only available in "Coyote". This color makes the boots unuseable for most police officers unfortunately. Black would be better. Nevertheless, the "Operator Boot" convinces with its comfort and robust material. The boot is also well suited for shooters on the shooting range or hunters in the field.
