Rheinmetall

Germany’s procurement authority has awarded Rheinmetall a contract to supply 1,745 laser light package sets for the Bundeswehr’s Special Forces G95 Assault Rifle (HK416A7). The order is worth around 5 million euro. 

At the largest land warfare exposition held in the US Rheinmetall showcased some of its advanced products and project: ammo, daylight cameras and active protection systems for armored vehicles.

As part of its VERHA product family, Rheinmetall has introduced an integrated and embedded sensor system to check ballistic plates for damage without the need for expensive X-rays. Sensing Armor is fully scalable and can also be used on vehicles.

Rheinmetall wins a 115 million euros order package to update the German infantry fighting vehicle Puma, designed to replace the old Marder 1. It's part of a larger “expansion package” with a gross value of €260 million. Let's have a look, what's new:

Enforce Tac 2017 / New from Rheinmetall and Steyr Mannlicher: RS556 assault rifle.
