F.A.I.R. Leisure Classic, hunting in a light manner

Thanks to its receiver in Ergal, an aluminum alloy also used in aeronautics, the F.A.I.R. Leisure Classic is a very light and handy shotgun: in the 12/76 gauge version with 26.7 in / 680 mm barrels it weighs only 5.7 lbs / 2600 g (5.2 lbs / 2400 g in 20 gauge).

The barrels are tested for steel pellets and make use of the X-Cones geometry which provides for forcing cones of new design that dampen the gun recoil. Made of HD40 steel, the barrels are equipped with a 0.27 in / 7mm wide ventilated rib in the 12 gauge and 0.23 in /6mm wide in the 20, 28 and .410 gauge versions.

The bead sight of the F.A.I.R. Leisure Classic is made of steel.

The chokes are interchangeable –  Technichoke specific for hunting. The barrels are available in the standard length of 26.7 in / 680 mm or, as an option, 27.9 in / 710 mm.

F.A.I.R. Leisure Classic, a very well-made stock

One of the strengths of this F.A.I.R. over-under is the top quality European walnut stock with an ergonomic design, schnabel forend and glossy oil finish. The checkering is of the "Scottish" variety, finely laser-made, with double grip. The buttpad is bakelite.

The large extractors are automatic and selective. As said previously, the receiver is in Ergal with a black anodized finish. It holds the action with coil springs and hammers with double safety notches. The locking system consists in a large transversal locking bolt engaging the double lug.

The F.A.I.R. Leisure Classic is sold with a set of three interchangeable Technichoke Hunting chokes and a key for their disassembly at a price of 1199 Euro including VAT.
