We were already able to test the new ZEISS Conquest V6 riflescopes a day prior to the opening of the IWA OutdoorClassics 2017 on the RWS Shooting Day. The new series has everything that distinguishes high-quality ZEISS riflescopes: they fulfill the strict company standards and incorporate high-quality technologies of Carl Zeiss GmbH.
Conquest V6 riflescopes have a sixfold zoom, are extremely reliable, precise and robust; “Made in Germany.” The new sights are the successor model of the popular Conquest DL series.
Properties of ZEISS Conquest V6 riflecopes
ZEISS Conquest V6 riflescopes will be presented in three models: 1.1-6×24, 2-12×50, and 2.5-15×56. For the first time, with the new V6, the Conquest series has the high-quality FL lenses of the Victory line in the lens. This means increased detail definition and contrast, as well as light transmission of 92% with the two models 2-12×50 and 2.5-15×56.
The new riflescopes also have a ZEISS LotuTec coating. Rain and spray can thus simply drip off. The very fine crosshair reticle 60 conceals the target only minimally and the point disappears completely when the reticle lighting is switched off. The movement sensor also switches off the reticle lighting automatically when the rifle is in a certain position.
The Conquest V6 riflescopes are equipped with a ZEISS rail and are produced from a single piece of aluminum.
Models of the ZEISS Conquest V6 riflescopes
With a magnification of 1.1 to 6.5×, the ZEISS Conquest V6 1.1-6×24 is the ideal battue sight. It offers a large overview with a field of view of 38 meters at 100 meters. The interval of the exit pupil is 90 mm. The housing consists of anodized and coated aluminum. The riflescopes for the battue or driven hunt has a recommended price of 1,395 euros.
The Conquest V6 2-12×50 riflescopes is the typical all-round hunting riflescopes. With twelvefold magnification, the riflescopes offers ideal prerequisites for correctly responding to the game both for the raised hide and for stalking. The ZEISS Conquest V6 2-12×50, with a lens diameter of 50 mm, is well-suited for shots at medium and long range. As a highlight, the reticle speed adjustment (ASV V6) can be acquired as an option for the ZEISS Conquest V6 models. The all-round riflescopes for the hunt has a recommended price of 1,595 euros.
The largest riflescopes of the Conquest V6 family is the 2.5-15×56. It is predestined for shots at medium and long range, and is equal to any hunting challenge of the raised hide during the day or in twilight. The riflescopes has a lens diameter of 56 mm and offers 92% light transmission. With the optionally available reticle speed adjustment (ASV V6), the big ZEISS Conquest V6 2.5-15×56 is transformed into a long range shot expert. With a recommended sale price of 1,695 euros, the flagship of the Conquest V6 line is well worth its price.
