The revised Conquest V6 series from ZEISS is new on the market and now boasts a 6× zoom. In addition to a 1.1-6×24 drive hunting lens and a 2.5-15×56 sitting game riflescope, the Conquest V6 2-12×50 also offers a classic all-round model. We tested this all-round riflescope for you.
You can access an overview of the ZEISS Conquest V6 riflescopes here at all4hunters.com.

As for all new ZEISS V6 models, this model also has a black anodized aluminum casing filled with nitrogen and a tube diameter of 30 mm. It is optionally available with a ZEISS inner rail without any extra charge. You can also choose the fast reticle adjustment feature ASV on the elevation tower.
ZEISS Conquest V6: what are the advantages of the all-round riflescope?

With the Conquest V6 models ZEISS, promises a light transmission of 92%. The reticle 60 is located in the second image plane. If necessary, a fine, continuous dimmable light point can be activated. In the V6 series, the designers have relocated the dimming wheel and the compartment for the CR 2032-button battery into a tower on the left side of the riflescope. To activate these, the tower has to be pulled away from the casing; to deactivate, it should be pressed down.
The manufacturer states the adjustment range at 250 cm by 100 m distance respectively in height and lateral position. With one click of the adjusting elements, the target mark moves the set distance by one centimeter respectively. The displacement drive without ASV can be zeroed without tools.
ZEISS Conquest V6: a top-performing riflescope in the middle price bracket
A V6 2-12×50 with ASV costs 1,775 euros, without ASV it costs 1,595 euros. The field of view at 100 m distance is 20.5 m at 2× magnification and 3.4 m at 12× magnification. The zoom ring is at the front on the ocular tube and has non-slip linear grooves all around as well as a nose at the zero mark. Rubber armoring at the ocular protects the eye. The diopter compensation, which extends from –3 to +2, can be focused at the rubber.

The Conquest V6 2-12×50 including ASV and ZEISS rail is 335 mm long and weighs 655 g. The version without rail weighs only 620 g. When assembling the riflescope, the eye distance should be 90 mm. ZEISS delivers the Conquest V6 riflescope in high-quality cardboard packaging with a magnetic shutter including a brief guide, a cleaning clothe and dust covers.
Our test result for the ZEISS Conquest V6 2-12×50
The new Conquest V6 riflescopes set new standards in the upper middle class. The cost effectiveness of the tested models is extremely high. With the new 6× zoom the 12×50 is ready for any hunting challenge. For sitting game, stalking, driven hunts or long-range shots – the new Conquest V6 is a real all-round talent.
The fine reticle 60 in the second image plane, available for this riflescope series, provides only minimal target coverage. ZEISS are now responding to this trend – in our opinion there is nothing to be said against it. The light point is activated and deactivated by an intelligent motion detector. This appealed to us. The adjustment for the light unit now lies on the middle tube and no longer on the ocular, a great feature. Rain slides right off the ZEISS-LotuTec-coating and the robust and black matt anodized aluminum casing optimally protects the lens.
