“Fast on target” is the password. This is how the new red dot has been introduced – the ideal tool for driven hunts when a quick target acquisition at close range is required. The Blaser red dot sight, called RD17, sports an elegant and slender design and provides an excellent field of view, a feature that makes it the ideal tool to deal with situations in which shots are required in rapid succession.

The RD17 is integrated with the Blaser mount, a solution specially designed so that the sight can be mounted as low as possible, therefore facilitating the quick and intuitive acquisition of the targets. High quality ensures excellent contrast of the red dot, that can be adjusted with 10 different settings.

Moreover, an important advantage is the Intelligent Illumination Control (IIC) that automatically adjusts the intensity of the red dot according to the different environmental conditions. Finally, if the device does not detect movements for three consecutive minutes, it switches to energy saving mode, whereas when the red point is moved again, it's immediately available. Thanks to these features the RD17 offers a battery life of over 50,000 hours.

The Blaser RD17 red dot sight will be available from August 2018. The retail price is 780 euro.
