Baschieri & Pellagri USA, the American division of the company from Bologna (Italy), made its debut at the 2017 Las Vegas SHOT Show with two types of cartridges specifically designed for hunting and target shooting, which have already proved to be a great success with hunters and shooters in Europe.
Baschieri & Pellagri Magnum Steel designed for waterfowl hunting
The hunting cartridges are 12-gauge Magnum, loaded with steel shot and designed specifically for waterfowl hunters who require powerful cartridges that offer constant performance when hunting quite large game often in harsh atmospheric conditions.
Baschieri & Pellagri Magnum cartridges make the most of the muzzle velocity guaranteed by the M92s or M410 powder, to produce a powerful steel shot pattern. Despite having a lower specific weight than lead, this shot has the penetrating power it takes to bring down tough game like duck at medium-long ranges. Loaded with 38 grams of Magnum steel, shot size ranges from 6, ideal for your first barrel, to 4, 3 or 2 for longer ranges or bigger game such as geese.
The plastic case has a 20 mm head with a pre-cut plastic low-dispersion wad to guarantee a well-distributed and particularly lethal spread.
Baschieri & Pellagri F2 Mach designed for Trap and Skeet
The Baschieri F2 Mach target shooting cartridge takes its name from the lamellar F2 powder it’s loaded with, a particularly reliable propellant producing high muzzle velocities. Designed for Trap and Skeet shooters, the 12-gauge cartridge has 24, 28 and 32 gram loads of white hardened lead shot with a special surface treatment that increases the shot roundness and therefore also the hardness and velocity of the same at the target.
The plastic case with an 8 mm head is the same Gordon System designed by Baschieri to help shooters by reducing the amount of recoil produced by the shot. The cartridge has a plastic wad with cup, and available shot size is what you’d expect to find in a target shooting cartridge: 7, 5 and 8.
