At the 2013 IWA in Nuremberg, Benelli presented, for the first time, the new semiautomatic shotgun Raffaello 12/76 gauge. It is the result of years of research by Benelli and represented a innovation for shotgun world. The shotgun Benelli Raffello adopts the “Progressive Comfort” system, that provides differential impact damping. It is connected directly to the recoil pad at the rear and is housed in a cavity in the butt end the stock. This is the first time ever for a shotgun with a quality walnut stock to incorporate recoil and muzzle climb reduction.
